The Dancer

Moses started his dance training at a very early age. He studied Spanish folk dance, flamenco and classical ballet since age 8. As a teenager he studied drama and performed classical theatre taking principal roles in plays like Los Habladores, El Sombrero de Tres Picos by Cervantes, El Medico a Palos by Moliere, and other classical Spanish plays.
He continued his training in Jazz and tap directly under choreographer Emma Pulido, and classical ballet at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, and later he became a professional dancer/actor/singer performing in major productions of world known musicals such as Cats, Joseph and his amazing Technicolor dream coat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and a few others.
As one of the principal dancers of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Performing Arts Academy he toured in Japan giving numerous workshops and performances throughout Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, and every major city in that country. Moses became a member of the Media City Ballet, now Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre, and performed several seasons with the company.

After visiting a swing club (The Derby) he became a fanatic of swing dancing (particularly Jitter Bug). Wearing suits from the 1940's, a fedora hat and two tone shoes, he used to hit the swing club 5 nights a week, later on he developed a passion for salsa and Latin dancing and after a couple years of lessons and training, he became a member of Los Rumberos Dance Company performing countless shows in major salsa events and venues, competing and becoming the champions of the World Salsa Team Showdown.
Moses has been teaching Latin dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, cha cha cha) for over 15yrs. His knowledge of music and lifelong training in different forms of dancing have given him a vey unique style of teaching, focusing on musicality, good posture, and very clean technique in every movement. His students develop a very high level and quality of dancing.
Moses is a member of Ritmo y Salsa Dance Company performing in major salsa events such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco Salsa Congress and many others.
He continues his training in flamenco and is currently performing under the direction of flamenco master Roberto Amaral.

The Martial Artist

Together with dancing, Moses has been a martial artist since age 5, practicing 6 to 7 days a week for over 30 years, since he was a little kid he was trained by his brother who was a Karate instructor in the Shoto Kan style, later on, he joined other styles of martial arts and used to run from one martial art class to the next, taking two or three lessons a day in different disciplines almost every day of the week.
He studied Karate (Shoto Kan and Shito Ryu), Kung Fu (Wing Chun, Choy Li Fut, Chang Chuan), Chinese Kempo, Judo, Kendo, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do and sword fighting under world known martial arts instructors such as Master Nobuyoshi Murata, Moy Yat (student of the legendary Yip Man), Daniel Inosanto (Bruce Lee’s friend and top student), Richard Bustillo (Bruce Lee student), Sam Kuoha (worldwide director of the Chinese Kempo System), Master Doc Fai Wong, and Eric Lee among a few others.
Moses was featured in the book King Dragon (a Bruce Lee biography) writen by Norman Borine who was the owner of The Bruce Lee Museum. Moses is a black belt in several stlyles of martial arts, expert in many chinese and japanese weapons and won several National and state championships in Kumite (fighting), he is retired from tournaments and competitions, but he continues teaching martial arts privately.

Film & Television

Moses has been featured as a dancer in many TV shows such as Friends, Dexter, According to Jim, Caliente, American Family with Edward James Olmos, Resurrection Boulevard, The movie "Showtime" with Robert D'Niro and Eddie Murphy, the movie "Chasing Papi" with Sofia Vergara.
He was featured as a CIA agent in the TV series Alias, a doctor in the comedy TV show SCRUBS, CSI, NYPD BLUE, and many TV commercials. He was featured in the Ultimate Collection Edition of the 20th anniversary DVD of the movie "Dirty Dancing". Moses was the main character (Yehiya Ayash) in the documentary "Targetted, The Engineer of Death" for the History Channel, he has been featured in the show "Shameless" and several other shows and films, with many more projects to come.
